Pathology Testing

Pathology testing allows us to identify exactly what is going on in your body from a biological stand point, resulting in an individualised treatment plan that gets targeted results. Pathology testing eliminates any guess work and takes the focus away from symptoms so that we can identify the underlying cause.

During your Naturopathic consultation I will organise a referral for relevant testing. The pathology test collection kit will be posted direct to you within a couple of days, your specimen is to be posted off for testing then I will receive your results to go over with you in our next consultation.

Gut Microbiome Testing

Screen for a wide range of microorganisms like bacteria, viruses, fungi, parasites, and worms. Microorganisms can cause health issues, especially when they are found in large quantities. This also tests for types and quantities of beneficial bacteria as well as a range of other functional markers important for optimal health.

02

Food Intolerance Testing

Food sensitivities can cause or contribute to a wide range of symptoms and conditions. It can be challenging to determine which food/(s) you may be reacting to due to the often delayed physical reaction and lag time from actual consumption. Testing IgG  (immunoglobulin G) reactions to foods eliminates the guess work.

SIBO Breath Testing

Small intestine bacterial overgrowth (SIBO) is an incredibly common gut disorder that ofter presents with symptoms of indigestion such as: nutrient malabsorption, bloating, gas, diarrhoea, reflux, burping and abdominal pain. Many individuals with IBS find that SIBO is the underlying cause and the right type of testing can gives us more information to work with.

Vaginal Microbiome Testing

The female reproductive tract is home to a very complex ecosystem of bacteria, fungi and viruses. A disruption in this ecosystem can lead to vaginal infections like bacterial vaginosis (BV) and vaginal candida (thrush) most commonly. Symptoms of an imbalance in this area can include: itching, discharge, pain during urination/sex, fish-like odour, redness and burning sensation.
